Dewey Stool
Designed by Eric Pfeiffer with Loll, the Dewey Stool is a minimalist and versatile stool that’s ready for more than just sitting. Unlike most Loll products, the Dewey is made from a mold with LLDPE plastic making it lightweight and easy to carry so somedays it could be your garden stool; other times, a footrest while lounging or a side table to hold that mid-day snack. Like the rest of Loll products, Dewey does not require special maintenance like sanding and painting, is made in the U.S.A., and is 100% recyclable.

General Maintenance
Loll furniture will not rot and requires no paint, stain or ongoing maintenance to keep its appearance.

HDPE | High Density Polyethylene
Most often, a simple hose-off will rinse dust and dirt from the surface. For spots where there is more dirt, use wet rag or a natural spray cleaner with microfiber towels. If there is dirt embedded in the texture, use mild soap (dish soap), water, and a stiff but gentle-bristled brush. You can also power wash Loll furniture if you keep the nozzle at least fifteen inches away from the HDPE. Cleaning agents like Simple Green are also a good option to help remove build up.
If necessary, household bleach can be used at a 1/2 cup per gallon of water mix. Allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes to disinfect and lift mildew or stains. Don't let it dry on the surface, bleach residue can leave marks. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all bleach traces. Allow the furniture to air dry in the sun. Prolonged or repeated bleach exposure can lead to surface dullness and/or discoloration.
*Do not use petroleum-based cleaners, sponges/cleaners with abrasive textures, or magic erasers as they can dull the surface of the HDPE.
Graffiti and Marker Removal
Begin with mild dish soap with warm water and gently scrub with a soft cloth and/or soft bristled brush in circular motions. If markings persist, use a citrus-based cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions and a soft bristle brush and/or microfiber towel.
*Do not use petroleum-based cleaners, sponges/cleaners with abrasive textures, or magic erasers as they can dull the surface of the HDPE. Avoid acetone, lacquer thinner, or paint strippers.

Loll products are designed and made so that parts can be replaced. If you have parts or components that are damaged, email us a photos of the furniture and damaged piece and we can provide a quote for the replacement parts needed.
