Here and There Bench
Grab a seat with the Here and There Collection. Designed and developed with design firm Argenta Park, the Here and There Bench is inspired by the iconic Leopold bench created by the founder of ecology and conservationist, Aldo Leopold. This functional form has been updated with, clean joinery, hidden fasteners, and Loll’s durable HDPE for a modern take on an iconic piece.
Originally built as a simple, functional seat for observing nature, the bench embodies Leopold’s philosophy. Taking it out to hilltops and vistas alike to enjoy in the beauty that surrounds us. Now you can embrace this idea with the Here and There Bench, placing it in your backyard to soak in the sunsets, or to rest beside your entryway while you get ready for your next adventure.
Use this bench as a stand-alone piece or pair it with the Here and There Dining Table 62 for a complete dining set.

Materials
HDPE
Loll's high-density polyethylene (HDPE) products are 100% recyclable and use partially recycled HDPE, primarily from milk jugs. Milk jugs are used due to their lack of pigment so Loll's vibrant colors can be created. Our HDPE is non-porous and naturally anti-microbial, making it resistant to mold and mildew unlike other common outdoor furniture materials. Our HDPE is designed for all elements and can remain outside 365 days a year. It is marine grade, and can handle both extreme heat and cold without becoming brittle. We use a custom hidden fastener method on our products and use USA made aluminum inserts mated with a 304 grade stainless steel bolt in all joinery (although you won't see this).
Stainless Steel
Select Loll products use stainless steel, alongside our HDPE to create durable outdoor (and indoor) furniture. Stainless Steel is extremely resistant to corrosion and ultra-durable for a look and feel that complements our classic HDPE. To increase our steels durability in all elements we apply and E-Coating to our steel material before applying an HDPE color-match Powder Coat to stainless steel pieces that are not noted as a stainless steel finish.
Powder Coat
Powder coats are applied to both Steel and Aluminum parts that are visible on Loll Designs products unless it is noted that the finish is Brushed Stainless Steel and add a layer of durability with its scratch resistance, and rust-proof finish. They also have a decorative element; each piece is color-matched to the HDPE being used on the product for a cohesive look that highlights the design or the product.
Care + Maintenance
General Maintenance
Loll furniture will not rot and requires no paint, stain or ongoing maintenance to keep its appearance.
Occasionally inspect fasteners to ensure bolts are tight.

HDPE | High Density Polyethylene
Most often, a simple hose-off will rinse dust and dirt from the surface. For spots where there is more dirt, use wet rag or a natural spray cleaner with microfiber towels. If there is dirt embedded in the texture, use mild soap (dish soap), water, and a stiff but gentle-bristled brush. You can also power wash Loll furniture if you keep the nozzle at least fifteen inches away from the HDPE. Cleaning agents like Simple Green are also a good option to help remove build up.
If necessary, household bleach can be used at a 1/2 cup per gallon of water mix. Allow it to sit for 2-3 minutes to disinfect and lift mildew or stains. Don't let it dry on the surface, bleach residue can leave marks. Rinse thoroughly with clean water to remove all bleach traces. Allow the furniture to air dry in the sun. Prolonged or repeated bleach exposure can lead to surface dullness and/or discoloration.
*Do not use petroleum-based cleaners, sponges/cleaners with abrasive textures, or magic erasers as they can dull the surface of the HDPE.
Graffiti and Marker Removal
Begin with mild dish soap with warm water and gently scrub with a soft cloth and/or soft bristled brush in circular motions. If markings persist, use a citrus-based cleaner according to the manufacturer's instructions and a soft bristle brush and/or microfiber towel.
*Do not use petroleum-based cleaners, sponges/cleaners with abrasive textures, or magic erasers as they can dull the surface of the HDPE. Avoid acetone, lacquer thinner, or paint strippers.
Replaceable Parts
Loll products are designed and made so that parts can be replaced. If you have parts or components that are damaged, email us a photos of the furniture and damaged piece and we can provide a quote for the replacement parts needed.
Stainless Steel
As needed, rinse with clean water to remove dust, pollen, and dirt. Wipe dry with soft microfiber cloth in the direction of the grain.
For deeper cleaning, use a mild detergent with a soft cloth or gentle-bristled brush. Rinse thoroughly and dry immediately.
*Avoid abrasive cleaners, carbon steel brushes/wools, and cleaners containing chlorine.
Powder-coated Metal
Inspect periodically for scratches, nicks, and gouges. Use touch-up paint as necessary. Follow same cleaning instructions as Stainless Steel.
